    What makes us different- WELS Model

    ASTRA : Work-Earn-Learn-Succeed (WELS) Model

    The WELS model is designed to provide a platform for you to develop employable skills while gaining first-hand experience during your management training (Certificate or Diploma). Additionally, you will receive a stipend similar to an internship. This model combines classroom sessions with extensive practical sessions as part of your skill training through On-the-Job training at a partner industry. 


    Upon completing the course, you may be offered employment by the same company, have the freedom to join another organization, or explore other career opportunities that align with your interests. 


    Under the "Work-Earn-Learn-Succeed" model, students are required to attend classroom sessions one or two days a week, while spending the remainder of the week (five days) gaining valuable exposure to industry operations. 


    Key Features of the "Work-Earn-Learn-Succeed" Model (WELS): 

    - Hands-on industry exposure through Internship – Work 

    - Stipend to trainees - Earn 

    - Integrated Learning (Internship + Classroom Training) - Learn 

    - Certificate / Diploma awarded to successful trainees - Succeed

    ASTRA Centre for Training and Development in STEM

    ASTRA provides certification programs, executive courses, and customized training workshops specifically designed for various industries, focusing on enhancing employable skills. We are an Academy, distinct from a college, as we offer specialized skill training to eligible young graduates alongside paid internships in diverse organizations. Our commitment is to act as a catalyst for both the youth and the Indian industry. Our expert team includes psychologists, motivational trainers, soft skill trainers of repute, functional experts, and industry professionals. 


    ASTRA offers Management Training programs at Certificate, Diploma, Post diploma, and Postgraduate levels, incorporating the WELS model to ensure comprehensive development. Additionally, we provide courses under Vocational Programs, Communication, and Attitudinal Skills.

    In a constantly changing environment, possessing life skills is essential for meeting the challenges of everyday life. To effectively cope with the increasing pace and changes of modern life, today's youth require new life skills, including employable skills that help them manage stress and frustration. ASTRA’s centre for Life Skills training & Advancement focuses on skill training through the WELS model, equipping youth with the eight Life Skills guided by experienced life coaches and mentors.
